I Have A Daughter!

I called an old friend quite a while ago. She told me,"Hey, I have a daughter! She looks a lot like me!" She was so proud to tell me that she has a daughter...she forgot she has two sons too.

I have a daughter too...although she doesn't look like me. Sometimes while we are enjoying our quality time as a family, Hubby would suddenly say something like this, "We have a daughter! Can't believe we have a daughter now!" :p

I'm so grateful for the precious moments I spent with Qianyi. While we were in a crowded lift after I picked her up from school yesterday, she raised her little head and smiled at me. We didn't say anything, simply exchanged glances. We both felt very happy then. When she put on her glasses and cap, she would walk to me and smile until I say "you look so cool!"...this is something she picked up from her favourite Brainy Baby vcd. She always looks so adorable when she does that. When she runs with her daddy while I'm walking behind them, she would stop to wait for me and call me "Qianyi" loudly. She looks so cute whenever she calls me "Qianyi". Sometimes she would call me "mummy" too.

Isn't it amazing to have a daughter? I totally understand why other mummy bloggers claimed that they share a special bond with their daughters though they love their sons dearly too!
