Our Home Activities

When I felt enthusiastic the other day, I printed out a Baby Bop colouring page and taught Qianyi how to colour within the lines. It's not easy. I had to hold her hand to do so. If not, she would just doodle. I also drew some shapes and objects. I held her hand but let her guide all the way to join the same shapes or objects with a line. Unfortunately, I'm not always that enthusiastic!

I prefer to play music with Qianyi. When she's blowing her saxophone, I would play the little piano. It's noisy but fun. She enjoys dancing with her daddy too!

She learnt ABC from the vcds... She can recite A to Z except LMN (she would skip these 3 alphabets by saying "aiyaaiya" three times). I would step on the alphabets and sing the Alphabet Song for her.

I told Hubby that it's his turn to do something with our little princess one weekend. Hubby decided to do drawing with her in the living room. Teacher Linda told me Qianyi's a carbon copy of her daddy during our PTA meeting. Well, she's not the first one to say so. There's a strong resemblance between them.

She enjoys doodling a lot...

We bought an easel for her last weekend. She can do her colouring, doodling or painting using the easel...there's no mess...so nice! :p

We've also bought a numbers pad called "Funky Footprints". When you step on a number, the pad will say it out! Qianyi keeps walking on it. She can recite 1 to 10 now. :)
