Back to School!

Qianyi went back to school two days ago. Everything's back to normal and my life's so much easier now. The teachers have been very busy dealing with the crying kids. I didn't get to talk to them until today.

After sending Qianyi to school this morning, I stayed there for half and hour to order the concert photos. I received the concert vcd yesterday. Qianyi and I watched it a few times before Hubby came home. When Hubby watched it, he laughed all the way because Qianyi looked so funny during the Hawaiian dance and the catwalk.

Both Teacher Linda and Teacher Esther told me that Qianyi's a very good girl. She has shown a great improvement. I was quite surprised to hear that some old kids were crying too including a 6 year old boy. Luckily, my little one goes to school happily every morning. Teacher Linda told us that Qianyi covered her ears when other kids were crying. Teacher Esther laughed upon hearing that and said it was Qianyi's turn to laugh at others. Haha, she forgot she used to cry a lot when she first started school. We all agreed that the 3-week holiday classes did help a lot. Qianyi enjoyed the holiday program very much.

Teacher Linda suggested me to let Qianyi attend their enrichment class (Jolly phonics). It's held every Monday, 12.30 to 1.30pm. The phonics lessons will help her pronounce properly. I've just discussed it with Hubby via email. We decided to let her join the phonics class. That's good...I'll have longer break every Monday! :)

Where's Mummy?

When Qianyi woke up on the first day of year 2007, I wasn't there. Hubby was taking care of her. He brushed her teeth, changed her out of her pyjamas, made her a bottle of milk and brought her out for a walk. While they were at the playground, she suddenly asked, "Where's Mummy?"

I was feeling super stressed dealing with this little monster's Hubby suggested to let me take half day off on the New Year's Day. It's a badly needed break for me to recharge my patience battery.

I had breakfast with my good friend, DM. After breakfast, we went swimming together. We enjoyed the swim and our "girly chat" sooooooo much! We also said hello to an Indian lady who was swimming alone. It's a great way to celebrate the New Year and the weather's beautiful!

It's already 1pm when I reached home. Qianyi's so happy to see me. She followed me everywhere and wanted me to carry her. Hubby said she's a good girl when I wasn't around but she didn't look as happy when I wasn't there. :p
